Yasaman Tehrani, who goes by her nickname, Yassi, is an Associate Attorney at the Matian Firm. Born and raised in Los Angeles while also being a travel lover, Yassi has always been surrounded by great diversity and community. This played a strong factor in her decision of choosing Immigration to be her area of practice. She always strives to be genuine and kind while being strong and effective.
Yassi received her Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in French & Francophone Studies from Loyola Marymount University. She then went on to receive her Juris Doctorate from the University of West Los Angeles – School of Law. Having passed the July 2022 CA State Bar Exam, Yassi was very eager to start the next chapter of her life and having the opportunity to be part of, specifically Removal Defense-Immigration Law seemed like the perfect fit. Since then, she has appeared at numerous hearings advocating and striving to do her best to fight for those who may not have the strongest political powers. Her goals are to continue with a very successful career while remaining caring and compassionate in a world where that often seems like a rarity.
