Matthew began practicing law in Arizona in 2006. In 2008 he began working at the Public Defender’s Office, where he has handled cases from misdemeanors to the most serious crimes. During her nine years at the Public Defender’s Office, she handled more than 1,000 cases and took nearly 100 cases to jury trial. Her time at the Public Defender’s Office also gave her the opportunity to work in Veterans Court and Mental Health Court. In 2017 she moved to Las Vegas where she earned her LLM in Gaming Law from the University of Nevada Las Vegas. After becoming a member of the Nevada Bar, he worked exclusively in criminal law.
He is a member of the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, the Federal District Court of Arizona, the Federal District Court of Nevada, the Arizona State Bar, and the Nevada State Bar.
