Audra Schumm is a Southern California-based attorney dedicated to advocating for individuals impacted by the criminal justice system. Born and raised in Orange County, she holds both a Bachelor’s and Juris Doctorate from the University of California, Irvine. Audra’s legal work focuses on mitigating the harmful consequences of arrests and convictions for her clients through post-conviction relief.
Her passion for this work developed during her undergraduate studies while researching mass incarceration and the unfair treatment of minorities in the criminal legal system. During law school, Audra’s volunteer work at an expungement clinic deepened her commitment to post-conviction advocacy, as she was inspired by the profound impact for her clients. Through UC Irvine’s Criminal Justice Clinic, Audra honed her skills in post-conviction relief, focusing on vacating convictions for non-citizen clients facing devastating immigration consequences like deportation. Since graduating, Schumm has continued her advocacy, assisting clients throughout the state of California with expungements, vacaturs, and pardons among other forms of post-conviction relief.
