Alvaro Aguirre was born and raised in South Texas along the U.S./Mexico border. As a first generation son of immigrants, he has first-hand experience with issues affecting Hispanic and immigrant communities and takes pride in his ability to offer legal advice in Spanish while aggressively defending his clients in court.

Alvaro graduated magna cum laude from Texas A&M International University in 2012. He went on to earn his Juris Doctor Degree from Suffolk University Law School in Boston, Massachusetts in 2015. Throughout college and law school, Alvaro held many leadership positions in organizations promoting the advancement of the Latino community in the legal profession.

Since graduating law school, Alvaro has devoted his entire career to the practice of criminal law. He served as Assistant District Attorney for both Webb County and Dallas County prosecuting theft, DWI, drug possession, domestic violence, and child abuse cases. He has significant trial experience ranging from misdemeanors to serious felonies including capital murder and sexual assault, both as prosecutor and criminal defense attorney.
