From early on in her career, Ms. Morell knew she wanted to dedicate her life to helping others tell their stories. She grew up in Puerto Rico, surrounded by the stories that she read on newspapers, poetry books and novels. Her mother encouraged her to read as much as she could and to form opinions regarding what she read. She grew up aware of what happened in her country and the world that surrounded her, which lead her to believe that becoming an attorney would help her understand the world a little better.

Ms. Morell graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism from the University of of Puerto Rico. She worked as an intern for the Commission of Agriculture in the Senate of Puerto Rico, while completing her Bachelor’s, which reaffirmed her interest in advocacy and the legal field. She obtained her law degree from the University of Puerto Rico School of Law in 2014.

Ms. Morell has has seven years of experience working as an immigration attorney and has represented clients before USCIS, Immigration Court and the Board of Immigration Appeals. She has successfully represented clients in Cancellation of Removal Cases, Waivers of Inadmissibility, Family Based Cases, Adjustment of Status and Appellate Briefs. She works hard to keep families together. She is licensed in the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico and the DC District Court of Appeals. She is fully bilingual in English and Spanish.
