BAR #332097

Edward James Davis became a criminal defense attorney to stand up for due process, the presumption of innocence and the right to a fair trial. He combines sophisticated legal representation with personalized attention to clients.
Edward’s interest in criminal law was first piqued many years ago when he served as the foreperson on a racially polarized drug case. The experience taught him the importance of carefully walking the jury through all the evidence and making the government prove every element of every charge beyond a reasonable doubt.
Born and raised in Los Angeles, Edward went to college and law school in Washington, DC, earning degrees from Georgetown University’s Edmund A. Walsh School of Foreign Service and The Catholic University of America’s Columbus School of Law. Edward brings to the courtroom a long record of civic involvement: he began his career as special assistant to the Governor of California and later served as press secretary to the Mayor of Los Angeles.
A member of the Bar of the U.S. Supreme Court, Edward is licensed to practice law in California, Georgia, and the District of Columbia. He is married to Dr. Marialena Anagnostou Davis, a Ph.D. scientist from Athens, Greece.
