David Wagmeister is an associate with The Matian Firm. Mr. Wagmeister graduated from the University of Southern California (USC), Gould School of Law, where he was the recipient of the American Jurisprudence Award in Immigration Law and served as a Senior Submissions Editor of the Southern California Law Review. Mr. Wagmeister received his undergraduate degree from Tufts University.
Mr. Wagmeister navigates the complex immigration procedures and regulations to obtain work permits and family-based green cards for clients before the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Service (USCIS). He also advocates for clients before the Executive Office for Immigration Review (EOIR) (also known as immigration court) when in deportation or removal proceedings, handles motions and appeals to EOIR, the Board of Immigration Appeals, and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. Mr. Wagmeister also represents clients in asylum.
